How the NFI Diet works
During the signup process, individuals are asked for their weight, height, age and gender as well as the medications they take. From this basic set of parameters, targeted chemistry for individuals can be established via tailored diet plans. So when individuals consume the prescribed foods in the correct order, chemical compounds are created during the digestion process that increase metabolism and the targeting of lipids around internal organs, including covering the insulin receptors which is the main cause of insulin resistance (type 2 diabetes).
Below is a simplified example of how the diet works: When consuming brown rice and black beans as a main meal, brown rice contains chemical ‘A’ which on its own doesn’t affect lipid saturation within the body. Black beans contain chemical ‘B’ which also on its own doesn’t affect lipid saturation within your body. However a different chemical ‘C’ is formed naturally during the digestion process when these two foods are ingested together at the same time. Chemical C has a very strong effect on lipid saturation and bonds to the tiny lipid particles covering the insulin receptors and helps enable the body to break them down. As this process is repeated as individuals adhere to the NFI diet, lipid saturation is consistently reduced. Over a short period of time (typically 12-20 weeks), this leads to complete reversal of type 2 diabetes.

When people hear about the NFI diet being specifically tailored to individuals, they sometimes assume this means personalised around their daily schedule. In reality, the NFI diet is personalised in respect to an individual’s chemistry. This ‘targeted food chemistry’ explains why the NFI diet is so effective. For example, in a recent 2020 article published in Diabetic Forum by a number of acclaimed diabetes Professors and researchers, 84% of patients reversed their type 2 diabetes after following the NFI Protocol.
Skeptics say it’s impossible to establish relationships between so many food groups, which react in a multiplicative number of ways in the body. It is indeed impossible to cross reference and calculate the interactions between all food groups, which is why the number of food groups in the NFI diet has been reduced to 70. From these, the NFI team have created algorithms and specific targeting regimes, which are built into programmes, allowing 15 million different eating plans to be constructed to custom-make tailored plans to target the specific needs of individuals.
Instructions On How To Follow The NFI Diet
When someone signs up, they have to input the data measurements that are requested. They will then receive a personalised diet plan on PDF. If the data inputted is not accurate, the diet prescribed would not be as effective. Due to changes in an individual's weight and potentially other parameters, the plans need to be recalculated every two weeks to ensure that individuals get effective tailoring and further improvement during the next two weeks. Research has shown that after patients have completed the NFI Protocol, they adhere to healthier eating habits and seldom return to unhealthy food choices.
The NFI diet has to be followed exactly. An individual does not have to always eat an exact amount, but it is very important that they consume the exact foods listed on the meal plan. An example of this would be if an orange is listed, the individual following the NFI diet should eat at least half an orange if they can not eat all of it. This is because otherwise the individual would not get the desired chemical effect after that meal. Similarly, the order of the days that are specifically prepared in an individual’s NFI plan must be followed in the exact order.
Examples of NFI Diet
Please see examples of NFI meal plans below. Please note that these have not been personalised specifically for you, so would change depending on your specific parameters. The specific tailoring is the most important thing when it comes to an individual reversing their type 2 diabetes.
Important note:
All our plans contain small amounts of nuts from time to time during the course. Nuts can not be omitted from the plan otherwise it will not be nutritionally balanced.
